LEVEL Fitness Re-Opening August 24

During the initial Phase 1, we will have limited hours and amenities. Please review the following before returning to workout. We can’t wait to see you back at the club!

 

Modified Hours of Operations:

Pardon our modified hours, we’re taking extra time in order to fully sanitize and disinfect our facilities to ensure the safest and healthiest environment in accordance with Westchester County Board of Health and CDC guidelines!

Monday — Friday:
7am – 12pm
4pm – 8pm
Saturday / Sunday
7am-3pm

 

To ensure the safest and healthiest experience back, please review the following policies and FAQ about re-opening and complete the member liability form before returning to workout.

LEVEL FITNESS REOPENING POLICY & PROCEDURES

 

MEMBERSHIP CAPACITY

  • We will be following CDC and NYS guidelines and open at 33% capacity
  • Our goal is to keep A SOCIAL DISTANCING POLICY in place

 

CHECK IN / OUT PROCESS

  • We are in this together; please be patient as we get everyone checked in. The first time back will be different because each member has to have completed the Returning Member Waiver and the Front Desk will note it in the system.
  • Please keep 6ft distancing as you wait on line to check in upon entering
  • To help us maintain capacity guidelines, we request that you check-out of the club before departing.
  • Staff and members must wear face covering at all times

EQUIPMENT

  • Equipment has been carefully placed to keep social distancing
  • Respect that some machines will be closed to maintain distance

AMENITY GUIDELINES

  • Locker rooms are open for restrooms and frequent hand washing. Please note the showers and sauna will remain closed to keep masks on 100% of the time.
  • Hydromassage is open
  • Salt room will remain closed
  • Water fountain will not be available; please bring your own or drinks are available for purchase in our vending machines
  • PT appointments available
  • Fitness Assessment appointments available
  • Limited Guest Privileges

 

CLEANING, SANITIZING, DISINFECTING

  • All LEVEL Fitness team members are dedicated to clean, sanitize, disinfect high touch areas, door handles etc.
  • Our members commit to cleaning equipment before and after use
  • Daily cleaning protocols are updated to match CDC and NYS Guidelines, including high tech fogger sanitizing machines
  • All staff, members and guests will wear masks

HOW BILLING WILL WORK

ABC Financial Billing

Upon reopening, we will unfreeze all memberships and resume billing.

  • Billing will be Pro-rated. You will be credited your daily rate for days lost in the closure towards the first months open invoice.
  • All members will be charged on their regularly scheduled billing date.
  • Annual fees due between closing and reopening will now resume on October 2nd.
  • Please direct all billing-related questions to ABC Financial Services at 1-888-827-9262 or email customercare@abcfinancial.com.

 

Personal Training:

We will unfreeze all PT agreements and resume billing upon reopening . We will extend the expiration date for unused sessions for 3 months. You may also train more often with your trainer if you prefer. Training session with your trainer may resume immediately. Please contact Shaun@LEVELfitnessclubs.com with any questions.

Freezing Your Account:

We realize that the COVID-19 pandemic has created unforeseen circumstances for many people, so we want to make sure that you know you can re-freeze your account for up to 3 months by contacting ABC Financial Services at 1-888-827-9262 or email customercare@abcfinancial.com and referencing that you want to freeze your membership account at LEVEL Fitness Yorktown location. This is a great option if you need a little extra time to make it back to the gym. Please allow up to 5 days for a response. If you are willing and are able to, we ask that you keep your billing active to help continue to support our business.

Cancelling Your Membership

You may decide to cancel your membership and not freeze it further. If within the first 12 months, you may be subject to a penalty. Yorktown members email deena@LEVELfitnessclubs.com and put CANCEL MY ACCOUNT in the subject line, your membership information in the body of the email.

 


 

FAQ

Once the club re-opens, will classes resume?
Yes, group fitness classes will slowly return under a modified schedule and with a limited capacity of participants per class based on the recommended government regulations for safety. Class times and locations will be updated online and on the LEVEL FITNESS APP as changes occur.
Will there be enough cleaning supplies in class?
Yes, we have increased the frequency and location of cleaning stations throughout the facility including in all studios and all instructors will advise on proper cleaning practices in each class.
Has all class equipment been fully sanitized?
All equipment in all studios has undergone a deep clean prior to the re-opening of the facility.
How will you ensure good spacing for group fitness classes?
We have moved Bodypump and Cycling classes to the basketball court to give members maximum space for classes. Equipment is properly set up and spaced out. Yoga, Pilates and Barre classes will be moved to our main studio to give our members more space to enjoy our classes.
Can members make class and schedule recommendations?
Yes, members can email group fitness specific questions/comments/concerns to Joshua Berrier, Director of Group Fitness- Joshua@LEVELFitnessclubs.com. A comment box has also been placed at each facility that a member can place any comment/question/ concern in and they will be reviewed by management.
Will free On Demand classes end once the club re-opens?
The free trial for Les Mills On Demand will end after the club re-opens, however, LEVEL Fitness has partnered with Les Mills to continue to offer Les Mills On Demand access to all LEVEL Fitness members moving forward at a discounted rate. Please reach out to management or the front desk for details.
Will it still be mandatory to sign up or register for classes?
Yes, a member can reserve a class on the LEVEL FITNESS APP. or by calling into the club prior to arrival to guarantee a class slot. All members must notify the front desk during check in that they would like to take a class. If the member has not previously reserved a spot for class and there is till availability, the front desk will enroll the member into class at check in.
*Please note that reserving a spot 24 hours prior for class on the app. or by notifying the front desk is recommended as classes will be at half capacity and are on a first come first serve basis. No one will be permitted entry after the class begins and there will be no exceptions to any of the above.
Which amenities will be available?
Upon re-opening, we are limiting some of our amenities to ensure the safety of our members comes first. Amenities will be opened in phases.
Phase One: Restrooms and hydro massage lounge will be available.
*During phase one the showers, steam rooms, saunas, lap pool, Jacuzzi and salt room will be closed. Kids Club and basketball court will be used for group classes. Water fountains will be unavailable, please remember to bring your own water and towel.
Will I be notified when all amenities are available and about any other club updates?
Yes, please make sure we have your most up to date email address and members will be notified via email.
Will I have access to the locker rooms?
Yes, lockers and restrooms will be available if needed. If possible, please limit the use of locker rooms to avoid crowding. Most lockers will be closed to ensure proper spacing.
Do members have to check in?
Yes, all members and guests must check in at the front desk and kiosks.
Can I still bring a free guest?
Yes, there is no change in our guest policy. Your guest will have access to the gym floor and locker rooms only. Guest must provide ID for entry and sign the electronic guest waiver. QR Codes will be available in the club for touchless waivers.
I have a LEVEL 3 membership, will I have access to the studios?
Yes, you will have access to all studios; LEVEL method, after burn and cycling when they are not in use for group fitness classes.
As was the previous policy these studious are not for the use of LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 members.
Will staff wear masks and gloves?  
Are members required to? 
Our staff will wear masks and our maintenance team will wear masks and gloves. It is mandatory for all members and guests to wear a mask during their workout, gloves are optional. We will not provide these items, please remember to bring your own.  Based on the strict New York Reopening Guidelines, acceptable face covering include cloth-based face coverings and disposable masks appropriate for exercise that cover both the mouth and nose. Bandanas, buffs, and gators are not acceptable face-coverings for use in gyms and fitness centers.

Has the facility and equipment been fully sanitized?
Yes, the facility and equipment has undergone a deep clean prior to the re-opening of the facility. LEVEL Fitness has purchased foggers for sanitized cleanings and will be used daily throughout the club.
How can members help keep the facility clean?
Our new expectations for members and guests is to help keep the facility clean by using the provided paper towels and disinfectant spray throughout the gym to sanitize all equipment before and after use.
If I notice a member not cleaning any of the machines they used can I say something to them?
Please let any staff member know so we can have the appropriate conversation with them. We will have signs posted throughout the gym to remind our members to clean their workout equipment after they use it.
Was I charged during the time the gym was closed?
All memberships were placed on freeze for no charge. If you were billed during this time please contact ABC Member Services at, 1-888-827-9262.
When will I be billed once the gym re-opens?
All billing will return to your normally monthly due date.
Will my monthly payment still be the same?
Yes, your monthly payments will stay the same.
Can I purchase drinks or protein bars from the vending machines?
Yes, our vending machines are available.
Kids Club
Not opening as part of phase one. We will evaluate after a couple of weeks and listen for guidance from NYS.
